Charles McGowan (MDiv, DD) was ordained as a pastor more than 55 years ago. His last pastorate was Christ Presbyterian Church, Nashville, Tennessee where he continues as Pastor Emeritus. He has served as Moderator of three presbyteries and as Moderator of the PCA. He founded McGowan Search (now McGowan Global Institute) in 2008, where he continues to serve the local church. He was married to Alice for more than 58 years before her death. He has four children and 21 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
